This album was recorded and released on cassette only in the Fall of 1988. It was recorded, mixed, and mastered in two weeks. The concept was to record a bunch of the most well-known Christmas songs, doing each one in a different style of music. To keep it non-religious, the songs with overtly religious lyrics were done instrumentally, with the exception of "Do You Hear What I Hear?"
